Ergonomics, designing interactions that will minimize physical and cognitive load such as reducing screen glare, simplifying button presses. Usability Testing, testing prototypes with workers to ensure new tools are effective and easy to learn. Having a human computer interaction specialist in a company warehouse is crucial when it comes to employee satisfaction, frustration with bad tech is high, having a good H C I improves morale and retention. A human computer interaction specialist works with some of the following, Wearable Tech such as scanners, smart glasses. Complete knowledge of Warehouse Management Software, Automation Systems and mobile applications when it comes to handheld devices.
