I finally got to go down to the Big Bake tent in Birmingham at the weekend. It was so much fun! It's a great british bake off style experience! It was one of the best things i've done in Birmingham for a long time.

We turned up in Digbeth and headed to floodgate street to the Big Bake. There was a little bar there where you can get all sorts of drinks.
We headed into the tent ready to bake. We were given an instruction sheet to follow to make the profiterole stack. All of the ingredients were already measured out for you so that saved a lot of time. We had to make the profiteroles, mousse and ganache ourselves and customise the flavours as we saw fit. We went down the tropical path with pineapple mousse with sour cherries and a white chocolate ganache topped with coconut and lime zest. THEY WERE AMAZING.

THE BIG BAKE has locations in Birmingham and London. It's a great day for friends, family date night or even work events. I would definitely recommend for something a little different to do.
