Joe Biden roasted after missing G20 summit group photo

Social media users have roasted US President Joe Biden after he missed out on the G20 summit world leaders group photo on Monday.

In a video feed posted to social media, American journalists were seemingly confused as Biden stood “behind the palm tree”.

According to the New York Post, Biden missed the photo to avoid being seen smiling alongside Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

The White House later blamed “logistical issues”, claiming that bad timing meant the 81-year-old missed out on the photo.

The video was posted to social media, where users on X mocked the oldest-ever sitting president.

“The top Democrat in the country embarrassing America on the world stage once again. Pathetic,” wrote one user.
