TKD Cycle7 Keyboard: Sound Test & Review with Linear and Clicky Switches

Описание к видео TKD Cycle7 Keyboard: Sound Test & Review with Linear and Clicky Switches

One of the best keyboards I've tried yet...! In this video, I will be building the TKD Cycle7 Gasket Mounted keyboard, providing a close-up presentation and conducting sound tests with Vertex V One linear switches and Kailh BOX White Owl clicky switches, using Cherry, MT3, and SA profile keycaps. The TKD Cycle7 features an EZ-Assemble aluminum case that requires no screws!

No matter the switches or keycaps I use, the Cycle7 delivers an incredible feel and sound... It boasts stunning quality for its price! TKD was recently founded by Vertex and EQUALZ. The version I have chosen includes a hot-swappable PCB, TKD Coating aluminum case, and FR4 plate.

I have tested the keyboard with Vertex V One and Kailh BOX White Owl switches, paired with three sets of keycaps:

Drop + MiTo GMK Pulse Mitolet - Cherry profile keycaps
Drop MT3 Dasher - MT3 profile keycaps
Drop + MiTo SA Godspeed Genespeed - SA profile keycaps

Thanks @clickclack for providing this keyboard! These donations really help the channel to grow. This was sent to me without any conditions. I can assure you that I will stay impartial in my videos and will always give my honest opinions in reviews and comments.

Hey there, folks! I'm J-S, and I'm all about making sound test videos for mechanical and non-mechanical keyboards. From the latest MX switches to those classic vintage keyboards, Click and Thock is where you'll find all the keyboard sounds you crave.

I'm talking everything from old-school Alps SKCM switches and IBM Buckling Springs to the freshest Kailh BOX switches. I put 'em all to the test and compare the different sounds these switches and keyboards create.

I also like to experiment with different plates, cases, switches, keycaps, and other components to see how they affect the sound. To keep things fair, I always use the same case, plate, and keycaps when comparing sounds.

So, if you're all about that #keebsporn life, you've come to the right place. Just kick back, relax, and enjoy the sweet, sweet sounds of keyboards.
