BEGINNER TO MMA CHAMPION: A 1 YEAR PROGRESSION FROM GRAPPLER TO STRIKER

In this video we take a look at how my student Wez became an Amateur MMA Champion. He made a complete transformation from grappler to striker, scoring multiple knockout wins, in just 1 year of dedicated training. Wez was already a decent grappler, training out of the Pro Jiu Jitsu Gym under black Belt Norbert Nowak, and Redditch MMA under head coach James Whiston.

A large part of Wez training in this time took place in a home gym, in his garage, at the back of his house! We had barely any space or equipment but we made it work. It was in the garage where the majority of Wez improvements were made, especially his boxing, as we really focused on technique!
