Unmatched Functionality

The backrest elevates to 80°, while the patented rollback system keeps the mattress stable to minimize patient discomfort. The leg section can also be raised for a relaxed sitting position. The bed’s height adjusts from a low deck height of 12.5" to a maximum of 27.5". When paired with a mattress, this translates to a low point of 19.5" and a high point of 34.5". This adjustability primarily benefits caregivers, reducing the need to bend over while assisting patients.

The Hi-Lo feature ensures safe and effortless transitions, mimicking the functionality of a lift recliner. With the touch of a single button, the bed's back begins to rise, the knees elevate slightly, and the bed smoothly rotates to a 90° angle. Once the patient’s feet are securely on the floor, the bed frame can be elevated to lift the patient gently and with minimal effort. Getting back into bed is just as simple—another button press.

The Med-Mizer ActiveCare Standard Bed supports up to 600 lbs and has optional hospital-grade features. These include side rails, foot rails, a mobility or assist bar, and a Trendelenburg pendant. This mattress operates silently without electricity and includes a Visco Gel memory foam topper for added comfort.
ActiveCare Air Mattress: Ideal for patients with bedsores, this powered air support surface offers three customizable therapy modes: Alternating, Pulsation, and Static. Advanced true air loss technology manages skin temperature and moisture, while Auto Boost inflates the surface during rotation to aid with bed entry and exit. Alternating pressure cycles, adjustable from 5 to 30 minutes, provide personalized pressure relief.
