A Day in the Life of a Marketing Coordinator + Advice from my Boss on How to Get a Job After School

After completing a Communications Degree I got a job as a marketing coordinator. Here is a sample of what I do in a day in the life of a marketing coordinator.

I work for a medical device company so a lot my job has to do with assisting sales reps when they need marketing material and assisting the marketing manager. This can be in the form of creating sample kits to ship to customers or creating brochures. I also have to keep our product catalogue updated on our website.

Lowkey I'm also a glorified receptionist. You'll see that my desk is literally at reception. That means I have to answer calls, accept packages and other deliveries. When we get mail I hand it out to the appropriate co-worker. That's the east part of my job.
