Alamo RC&D Inc Community Garden- Kendall County

Texas Health and Human Services Commission allocated H.R. 133 and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness (SACADA). SACADA Kendall County Community Coalition partnered with Alamo Resource Conservation & Development Area Inc (ARCD). ARCD is a nonprofit organization that helps communities meet local community needs by advocating for protection of water and land resources, enhancing environmental sustainability, by promoting agriculture and enhancing the quality of life for the Kendall County area. This project aimed to link youth and their families to service-learning activities centered on Home and Community Gardening that build leadership, provide academic improvement, and instill an appreciation for the environment and agriculture, an appreciation of nature and for the community. https://www.alamorcdareatex.org/Growi...
