Dean Schroeder (  / dean-schroeder-3379376  ) is an award-winning author, consultant, and academic. Dr. Schroeder has worked with organizations worldwide, led radical transformations at four companies, served on four corporate boards, and was on the board of examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for six years. He’s the bestselling co-author of Ideas Are Free, The Idea-Driven Organization, and Practical Innovation in Government: How Front-Line Leaders Are Transforming Public-Sector Organizations (Berrett-Koehler Publishers; July 19, 2022). Dr. Schroeder is a senior research professor at Valparaiso University, where he formerly served as associate dean and founded the school’s graduate programs in management.
