On Saturday, February 8th, The Saturday Free School for Philosophy and Black Liberation screened our original documentary, 'To Fulfill the Unfulfilled, To Answer the Unanswered, The Revolutionary James Baldwin', followed by a roundtable and community discussion, at Healthy Hood, Chicago. The roundtable included Minister Abel Muhammad of the Nation of Islam, Edgar Barazza (SFS), Meghna Chandra (SFS), and Brother Brady, a Minister of Information at Healthy Hood. Jahanzaib Choudhry moderated.

James Baldwin is most often seen as a writer and cultural icon, he was however much more - a philosopher and revolutionary thinker who cannot be separated from Martin Luther King Jr. and the Black Freedom Movement

Our nation faces a crisis of violence, war, mental illness, poverty, homelessness, and meaning. It is up to the people to heal society and determine our human future. Baldwin, the thinker and revolutionary, provides us with the vision to make freedom real.
