One year ago, Batangas and nearby communities experienced the devastating and tragic effects of the Taal eruption. Communities were shattered, homes and livelihoods were damaged, and lives were upended. But step by step, little by little, our kababayans are starting to recover – thanks to your support!

Operation Blessing, together with the provincial and local government unit and its church partners, turned over fishing boats to several survivors in Buso-Buso, a town in Laurel, Batangas where most residents depend directly on fishing as their primary source of income. “This blessing is a really big help for us. I thank the Lord for all the people He used to help us,” Sherwin, one of the recipients of the boat, said.
