In this episode, we are highlighting one of our most popular all-rounder knife holders – the PSGs-DF. The PSGs-DF family includes various executions, but all models offer high stability and efficiency in slitting different materials.

With a slit width starting from 50 mm, this knife holder is a top choice in the nonwoven and paper industries. It also supports high slitting speeds, thanks to its backlash-free, vibration-damping double-axis guidance, which extends knife service life.

While the current knife holder does not include our DIENES Easy Change tool, it can be equipped with this option for tool-free knife changes. This prevents screws from falling into the machine, reducing the risk of production stops while improving safety and efficiency.

A standout feature is out Depth Control, which enables precise overlap adjustment via an LED display. Pressing the blue button activates the LED, guiding the operator in making the correct adjustment—confirmed when the light turns green.
