iOS 18 Speed Test on iPhone XR, 11, 12 and 13.

As expected, Apple released iOS 18 and 17.7 this Monday (September 16, 2024). It has been a while since I’ve been conducting these speed tests, primarily because I haven’t been able to observe significant differences from point release to point release or from beta to beta. However, whenever a new major release is out, I believe it’s essential to perform a test. So, I’ve done it.

I’ve conducted the tests on the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13, as these are the only iOS 18-compatible devices I have two of. Going forward, it will likely be impossible for me to obtain two of each device, so these tests may become less practical.
