Starting a Figure With a New Technique. Oil Painting Process.

The idea for a new painting should come together with its own technique. There are many influences we can get inspiration from. I started with a new ground that came from a scraped failed painting, then drew loosely with the charcoal and began to paint with bold colors inspired by a painting in my collection.
