Wild & Sacred (Selvagens & Sagradas): A Ritual of Five Elemental Women

Dionysus in Miami in collaboration with Creation Art Center presented “Wild & Sacred” (Selvagens & Sagradas): A Ritual of Five Elemental Women in December 2025 at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center (MHCAC), as part of the Second International Brazilian Theater Festival.
“Selvagens & Sagradas” proposed an immersive, site-specific experience in which the audience moves through the rooms of a historic J.W. Warner House built in 1911 home of the MHCAC. Each space represents one of the five elements of nature Air, Fire, Water, Ether, and Earth, and reveals the symbolic presence of five mythical and historical women; Hypatia, Joan of Arc, Mary Magdalene, Helena Blavatsky, Lady Love. The journey invites the viewer into a sensory exploration of the sacred feminine, blending theater, dance, philosophy, and visual arts in an intimate and transformative encounter.
