Winter is creeping closer with every sunrise, which means I should be laser-focused on gathering food, stocking supplies, and preparing for the cold. Instead… well… a tiny ghost needed help, and I’m apparently incapable of saying no to adorable supernatural side quests.

He’s lost his little toys, scattered all over creation, and every time we return one he rewards us with morning glories — strange, glowing petals that feel almost magical. By the time we bring him the last toy, he showers us in them, and suddenly we’re standing here holding the makings of actual potions.

A healing potion? Tempting.
A shield potion for Abigail — my ghostly sister-in-arms? Even more tempting.
But I’m still learning how all this works, and the sun doesn’t wait for indecision.

As the next morning breaks, I set off toward the rabbit traps, hoping to gather enough supplies before the freeze sets in… assuming no more ghosts need rescuing.
