Is it Time to Buy Air Canada ?
What do you do when you spot a gap between share price and financial performance.
In this video I'm comparing the performance of Air Canada's share price to the performance of its financial fundamentals. The fundamentals are revenue, net income and cash flow from operations. I'm also looking at Air Canada's balance sheet.

What I'm noticing is that the fundamentals are flying: revenues above pre-lockdown levels, recent positive net income and positive cash flow from operations. Yet, the share price hasn't taken off...yet.

Why isn't Air Canada's share price flying like its financial fundamentals ? Is it the debt level ? Air canada has always been highly leverage but since the lockdown, it showed more liabilities than assets at the end of 2022. Thankfully this has reversed since September 2023, their last disclosed results.

I smell an opportunity when the share price doesn't follow the financial performance. Is Air Canada ready to fly ?
