This tongue in cheek video is a journey on the major mistakes I did whilst doing my scenery. This video is a what not to do and how to do to fix the scenery to make it look presentable. I will touch on speed ballasting as per Chadwick Model Railway and other more conventional ways of ballasting your track in hard to reach areas. Next there will be a demonstration using Woodland scenic clump foliage and how I use this to hide the line of the backdrop with the hill line to look more realistic. These ideas have come from mother nature herself in conjunction with Kathy Millatt videos on using real photos to learn how to and get inspiration for your scenery. I will also give a few anecdotes on what not to do with model railroading scenery. Further to this I will show how to add texture and colour to an area using a Noch grass applicator and Heki grass mat
