Honoring the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), UChicago presents a Human Rights Teach-In featuring Provost Thomas Rosenbaum, Professor Michael Geyer and Executive Director Susan Gzesh.

On December 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly approved the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. To mark the 60th anniversary of the UDHR, the University of Chicago Human Rights Program will present a teach-in on Thursday, November 20, 2008. University of Chicago faculty and students will present historical, theoretical, and practical perspectives on the context and legacy of the UDHR.
