Stanley STXH2000-IN Heatgun Repair ( Replace Heating Element)

Follow the below steps and replace heating element of STXH2000-IN Stanley Heatgun.

1) Remove screws
2) After that you can easily pull the upper clamshell and remove it. ( Part number of Clamshell : 5140154-26 )
3) Remove 3 screws which are inside the fan cover ( Part number of Fan Cover : 1004092-00 )
4) Remove Heating Element from it's Housing ( Part number of Housing : 1004095-00 )
5) Cut the wires attached to the broken/old Heating Element
6) Peel the wires attached to the PCB
7 Insert new Heating Element in Housing ( Part number of Heating Element : 1004098-00 )
8) Attach fan cover above and fix 3 screws
9) Peel the wires of Heating Element
10) You can use sleeves of the old Heating Element and re-use it to secure the joints. Note : New Heating Element from Stanley company does not include sleeves
11) Roll and attach both peeled wire ends together according to it's colour. Attach Red PCB wire to Red Heating Element wire. Similarly White with white wire and Blue with blue wire
12) Attach Motor and Heating Element assembly and fix it in Clamshell
13) Take care that the wire don't get damaged. Push it in Clamshell carefully
14) Fix the Fan Cover with screws
15) Before finally closing the Heatgun, plug in and check the heating function of the machine carefully.
16) If it's working then lock the machine with the screws
17) Yes !!! Finally Heating Elements has been replaced
