Kinemaster & Boya BY-M1 microphone headphone splitter sound FIX trrs jack mod

Editing videos on the go using the Kinemaster app is convenient, because you can do everything straight on your smartphone! I am using a Boya BY-M1 microphone, to do the voice over for my videos. However I'm running in to a small problem. When I plug the Boya mic into the headphone jack of my smart phone, I can record the audio just fine in kinemaster. The problem comes when I try to playback the recording. The phone thinks there is a pair of headphones plugged in, so I don't get any sound, unless I unplug the microphone each time I want to listen to the recording. When you're doing video editing this is extremely inconvenient and annoying. My solution was to make a custom microphone and headphone splitter cable. This way I could use my mic and headphones at the same time, and it makes sound editing so much easier!
