I have made this video to help others solve a problem I had not too long ago.

I had the issue of my radiators working up stairs ok, but they didn't work properly downstairs (basically remaining Cold). After a little research I was pleased to say that I didn't have to call out an engineer and pay money ££££££££ that I didn't have. I was so pleased that it was an easy fix.

Basically I just located the water circulating pump, unscrewed the middle brass cap and freed the impeller that was stuck. Apparently the do get stuck if they haven't been used for a while or if the pump is worn.

After freeing up the pump we were warm again.
