2024 Back to School Conference Recap

On August 6-7, we hosted our 2024 Back to School Conference and the first All Grantee Convening of our new five year funding cycle. Representatives from all of our grantee agencies gathered together to meet the DCYF staff in person, to network, to participate in professional development and wellness workshops, and to learn about DCYF's vision for the next five years. Our Director, Dr. Maria Su, set the tone in her State of DCYF address:

"As our collaborative partners, I want you to do something with us that you won’t hear from many other City departments: I want us to be disrupters. Let’s disrupt the old systems and patterns and create new pathways to success. Let’s innovate, collaborate, and advocate for practices that uplift our community. Let’s challenge ourselves to think differently, to be bold, and to strive for the outcomes we know are possible. Let's make San Francisco a great place to grow up!"
