In this video, I demonstrated how to simultaneously record using two sound cards by creating an aggregate device with Focusrite Scarlett 3rd Generation 18i20 and 4i4. Focusrite 18i20 comes with 8 microphone preamps while the 4i4 comes with 2 microphone preamps. Creating an aggregate device gives you the ability to use the 10 microphone preamps on both devices simultaneously.
