Wheel of Fortune (PS4) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

Описание к видео Wheel of Fortune (PS4) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of Ubisoft's 2017 game show game for the Sony PlayStation 4, Americas Greatest Game Shows: Wheel of Fortune.

This video shows four "episodes" on different sets, and was recorded from a PS4 Pro at 1080p60 through an XCapture-1 card.

The first game is played on the standard TV show set.
22:52 Game at the national park set
45:05 Game at the movie set
1:07:20 Game at the Philadelphia set

Besides the flashier sets and the higher prize amounts, Wheel of Fortune hasn't really changed much over the decades. Though it's not like you'd expect it to: I think they're pretty much at the limit with what you can do with Hangman.

The games have followed about the same pattern. It still features three players, still has a bonus round, and the giant wheel. This one does look much better than past 3D attempts at Wheel of Fortune. The avatars are pretty limited and look a bit creepy, but they're a huge step up from those gross little squidgy people from the other versions. The studio looks great (especially the wheel!), and the sounds are all there and sound the same as the TV show.

Pat Sajak and Vanna White are both missing from this one. Even more apparent once you begin is the lack of variety in the presentation - the host has one or two lines per "event," and they start to repeat over and over before you're even done with the first episode. Voice samples are constantly cutting each other off as well, like the timing is off in the sound programming.

There are 4,000 puzzles on offer, so that should be plenty to go through before you see any repeats, and the game is quite a bit of fun. Especially with other people, the atmosphere the game can make for a lot of entertainment - even if it is pretty funny to see how the AI will sometimes pick Q over and over at random moments.

On a side note, the game does have a multiplayer option in its menu. I thought that sounded cool and tried to give it a go - however, no matter what, it never matched me up with anyone! I wonder if it's a glitch in the game or if just nobody is playing, so that was a bust. The offline modes are fine, though of course you'll get the most mileage out of it playing with friends.

*I did cut the menu screens out so that the four episodes flow together without any breaks, like if it was on TV but without commercials.
