My name is Lena.
I am 19 years old.
I am an art student and a painter.

I live in a very small apartment in New York City. The building is old, with narrow stairs and cracked walls. The paint on the doors is peeling. The elevator never works, so I always climb the stairs slowly, carrying my bag and sometimes my paintings.

My apartment has only one room. There is a small kitchen corner, a bed near the window, and a table where I paint. The window looks at another building, so there is not much sunlight. Still, I love this place. It is the first home I ever had on my own.
