🥟 Pan roasted high protein momos using ragi flour. Using ragi instead of wheat or maida is such a gamechanger. Ragi gives the momos a beautiful earthy flavor, I can never go back to using white flour again!
🥟 INGREDIENTS FOR MOMO WRAPPERS:
Ragi flour - 1 cup
Salt
Boiling water
🥕 INGREDIENTS FOR FILLING:
1. Saute chopped onions, ginger garlic paste
2. Add chopped carrots, cabbage, and crumbled tofu
3. Add salt, pepper, soy sauce, and cook for 4 mins.
4. Garnish with spring onions
🧄 TO MAKE SOY DIP:
Just mix these ingredients together
Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
Water - 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Chilli flakes
Sesame seeds
Chopped spring onions
Salt
🌶️ TO MAKE SCHEZWAN SAUCE:
Grind together one tomato, 4 cloves of garlic, 3 dried red chillies. Heat sesame oil in a non stick pan, cook the ground paste until oil separates and then add water to adjust consistency. Finish with salt and soy sauce.
