This Memorial Day, Semper Solaris was proud to honor Michele Lynn, a Gold Star Spouse, Navy veteran, and devoted mother in San Diego, by installing a free solar energy system through our Semper Cares Initiative, Project Zulu.

Michele’s late husband, U.S. Marine Staff Sergeant Aaron White, gave the ultimate sacrifice in 2003 while serving in Iraq. Since then, Michele has dedicated herself to supporting other military families as a mentor, advocate, and voice for widows of the fallen.

As featured on CBS 8, this solar installation not only provides Michele with lasting energy savings and peace of mind, but also serves as a heartfelt tribute to her husband’s service and her family’s strength. Her story is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our military families, and why we’re committed to giving back through meaningful action.
