While I wanted to properly surprise and present Anders the custom bass I created for him, the bass was put into the dressing room while we went into the casino with drummer Jon and his wife for some dinner. When we were done and came downstairs into the dressing room, we found Anders and Michael jamming a little bit. Anders looked to be very happy with the bass and said he couldn't wait to see it, so we shot this quick "presentation" video of the occasion. He played it that night on stage for the full encore and then for a number of shows after that. This is "Tunis Bass #2"....the first one was made for Dickie Peterson of BLUE CHEER. Made with quality USA Custom Guitars neck and body, Seymour Duncan pickups, Hipshot bridge, and Schaller tuners. Finished by myself...I also made a duplicate for myself, which Anders signed for me. Sad he has left Volbeat and my bass saw a short touring life but when I was at my worst with lyme disease, it gave me another thing to motivate me and get me up and working anticipating whether he would like it or not. He loved it!
