Fan Switch out of calibration, Cutting in fan at 290 psi when it should cut in at 240 psi

This is the kind of car that would fool a do it yourself person Or a technician with little experience or even with a lot of mechanical experience but little AC experience.

Temperature out the dash between 43°F in 48°F seems good enough

But that’s only due to the low sun load in the low ambient temperature

If you did not test the temperature of the compressor that is burning hot you would just let it go on its merry way with the customer that would come Back as a burnt out compressor in a angry customer

The Cause , the technicians lack of experience and knowledge. Lack of training lack of education RTFM 

This kind of return burned out compressor I’ve literally seen thousands of times over my decades coming back to mechanical shops after they’ve done a recharge

The sad thing is they don’t even know that they did it and are responsible.
