These stats set a new bar for electric trucks,if they hold up beyond the brochure.

But here’s the real test: how does all that promise translate when you leave the pavement behind? ‪@gmc‬ let me loose on some seriously gnarly trails, with deep mud, ruts, and tight turns that would make even seasoned off-roaders sweat. While the Sierra’s all-terrain tires, 2-inch lift, and clever terrain mode handled most obstacles with confidence, the truck’s nearly 9,000-pound curb weight and lack of true locking differentials became obvious limitations in extreme conditions. It’s not the lightest or the ultimate rock crawler, but it’s the first electric truck I’d trust to get me to the campsite, down a fire road, or across the state on a single charge.
