晴子はちょっと調子悪そうにしてる
上司のことや引っ越しのこととか悩んでる
同期の出産祝いを買う時間　今日はなさそうだな

道挟んで1000円カットから龍平は出てきた
「スーツもそろそろ新しいの買わなきゃなあ」
これでも昔はちょこっと
名の売れたミュージシャンだったよ

そういやこの辺りで昔
永井博の絵を見に行ったっけ

今日は晴子の34歳のバースデイ
自分のことなのにすっかりと忘れてる

40歳の誕生日を迎えたお笑い芸人の龍平。彼は数年前の恋人、晴子と過ごした日々を思い出していた。だが浮かぶのは静止画のような断片だけで、どうしてもはじまりを思い出すことができないでいた・・・。

THEラブ人間が男と女のすれ違いと時間の経過を描いた主題歌「晴子と龍平」をモチーフに、キャストにニッポンの社長と清水みさとを迎え、登場人物のキャラクターを前面に出した個々の挿話が、否応なく離れ離れになっていく恋人たちの運命を響かせる。
