A super 8 film we scanned for a customer on our Film Fabriek HDS+ in 4K using the wetgate restoration for a scratch free transfer.
It shows the Sygna ship wrecked on the beach of Stockton NSW, near Newcastle.
The ship ran aground during heavy storms in May 1974
The film was shot by Arthur Whiting of Cardiff NSW, shared with permission from his family.
