Ambient Bicycle Ride through Ile des Soeurs August 2024 4K

le-des-Soeurs is accessible by bridge from Verdun. It is a nice neighbourhood and a large part of the trail passes through a forested area. The first half of the loop has a rough surface in some places. It is due to be repaired. The second half of the loop has new asphalt. I figure the city will resurface most of the trails on the island in the next two years.
If you are from an area of Montreal far from Verdun you can take the Metro to LaSalle metro and ride down rue Henri-Duhamel to the high school and the access to the Bridge is on the left near the Autoroute. I wouldn’t recommend riding onto the island with your car and parking.
