Rooftop Run (Classic) - Sega Genesis Remix

It took a while for me to get inspiration for my next remix, but then I remembered this song exists. One of my absolute favorites in the entire SERIES! I am actually really proud of this one. I used a lot of the PSG channels here, because I had to use 3 FM channels almost all the time for the main chords. It was a fun challenge though, and the bass especially turned out super close to the original! And I am SO PROUD OF THE THUMBNAIL!! I think the idea of remixing Generations music is definitely on the table now, specifically the Classic remixes. I will have to see though. Thank you so much for your support!

This was done from scratch using Furnace, and VGM2TFI to get the instruments from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I sampled the original drums using Lalal.ai. I used Corrscope for the oscilloscope view of the audio channels, and Aseprite for all of the sprite editing/spritework. If you guys have any suggestions for another song I should cover, comment down below!
