Weekend status of the baby goldfish and the goldfish pond. I wanted to start by showing the Lilly flowers that have bloomed and all the Lilly pads. The pond water is pretty clear and you are able to see all the baby goldfish along with the adult goldfish. The flowers in the labyrinth are in transition as some of the older ones are fading, but some new flowers are starting. Cosmos blooms occur all year. We have a full moon labyrinth walk tonight so I am clearing up the pathway so folks can walk. Of course I'm listening to Deva Premal while working and it's joyous. I had to focus on the lawn last weekend so I'm catching up on two weeks of weeds. Butterflies are out today and we notice goldfinches on the sunflowers today as well. Last year about this time we also had the dragonfly swarms over the house and pond. We noticed it a few days ago and thought it may be starting, so we'll be watching the next few nights for the yearly occurrence and I'll see if I can get some shots for you.
