Politics over drug bust case erupted after, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik alleged that a "prominent BJP" leader's son-in-law was also detained by the NCB during the agency's raid at the cruise rave party from where Aryan Khan and others were arrested. Nawab Malik claimed that the BJP leader's relative was released soon after.
