to make chess pieces there is few steps
step 1: open maya press space bar go to front view

step 2: import image and come to perpective view lock the image

step 3: than go to create and select cv curve tool

step 4: trace the half object than go to surface and revolve if object show black click two side light

your piece is ready in this way you can make many object


That's my second video hope you like them in future i try to more good video
