Chevy forgot to put a vent on the valve cover to allow blowby and oil vapors somewhere else to go other than the main seal around the output shaft. I show how to do this on a Chevy volt. I talk about several other issues such as the leak into the cooling system and how I solved that as well, the exhaust system has issues that are easy to fix but were bonehead design choices. The volt could have been Chevy's greatest car if a few things were done differently. Like using the generator to cycle-charge the batteries to allow for fun mode, when the cars batteries are charged, it really moves! But they didn't. Tune in for more modified volt updates.
