संत कवि लक्ष्मी सखी के काव्य परिचर्चा(हाटका) Poetic Discourse of Sant Kavi Lakshmi Sakhi

The pious Samadhi Sthal of Sant Kavi Lakshmi Sakhi Baba is situated on the sacred bank of the river Narayani at the village Teruwan near Kretpura Bangra just adjacent to Rajapatti station in the district of Gopalganj,Bihar,India.Its a very peaceful place far from the din and bustle of the city life full of natural surroundings with Wordsworthian feelings.Apart from being a great saint, Baba Lakshmi Sakhi was also a great poet par excellence.His poems are often characterized by his great poetic sense full of all the chief tools is figures of speech and prosody.They are highly musical often sung with musical tools at this Math or Ashram. The present Sant of this Math is Sant Janardhan Sakhi who is blind by birth but got by heart all the verses of Sant Kavi Lakshmi Sakhi and often sing his bhajans with playing Harmonium with great ease and felicity.His great thoughts and poetic exuberances can be seen in his four great written books namely

AMAR KAHANI
AMAR VILAS
AMAR FARAS

He was of the opinion that great knowledge can't be gained by pedantic knowledge of books and scriptures, but can be achieved easily through self introspection.He says:
ATNA JE PADHLIS TE ANGREJIA, FARASIYA
TAB KAHE NA KAYLIS TE ATAMDARASIYA.
