Hey all! It has been a while since I have uploaded a video (Last video uploaded was another OpenBVE TTC run on Line 1 aka the YUS with a Gloucester G-1 Train back on April 16/20)! Since where I am which is the Province of Ontario, Canada… The COVID-19 lockdown is still in order (in effect) and still staying home and staying or I like to call it, playing it safe! 😉
That is how I roll up the line! Get it? Up the subway train line! 😊

Anyways, let’s try a run on Line 2 aka the Bloor-Danforth with the UTDC/Can-Car H-6 class train, shall we?
There are a few bugs/glitches with the Bloor-Danforth package since also using an older version of OpenBVE (v1.4.2.0).

Done this a few days ago!

A small list Bugs/Glitches I have pointed out or noticed:
-The Invisible “Flashing Reds” through the old-school “timed” blocks causing to “trip” the train’s emergency brakes.
-Flickering in-game Material (e.g. walls, ceilings)
But Still, it’s playable!

I remember I have been in the Driver’s Seat or got “behind the scenes access” of the H-6 a few times on the Bloor-Danforth line (Line 2) back in the late 1990s and mid 2000s!
Last time was during the March Break of 2006! During a pleasure ride on the TTC Subway from Kipling to Yonge-Bloor Station! The operating crew took extra caution (I would too) or procedures of passengers/commuters (or HARDCORE Subway Train buffs like myself) to sit in the driver’s seat!

I have pretty much been in the operator’s cab and/or seat on every TTC subway train stock! Except for the Bombardier T35A-08s (Toronto Rockets [TR]), the Hawker Siddeley H-3 experimental trains (was not even born back in that time!!!) and the Gloucester G2-4. Combinations are included!
I have been in the operator’s cab of the G-1s (cars 5098 & 5099) at the Halton County Radial Railway when they were used for the “pleasure runs” back in the late 1990s when I was there for the first time and haven’t been there since!
When the pandemic or it is safe to do so for the Province of Ontario to lift the lockdown order, I need to go there for a visit “down memory lane”!
