Oh boy it's gotten chilly and we've even had some of that white fluffy stuff making everything pretty. It’s a terrific time to head out to Fox & Hen Winery for a winter wonderland adventure and a glass of fine wine or cider. Plan a trip to visit Fridays and Saturdays from 1 PM to 8 PM before they close for the season December 6th. Fox & Hen is located between downtown Grand Haven and Allendale.

We have been periodically telling you about SB Mowing and the incredible support Spencer and his viewers have given Miss Beth and Edgar and Ivy's Cat Sanctuary. Buckle up Nick’s Newsies, because Norovirus is back with a vengeance. Norovirus is a food born virus. Wash fruit and vegetables, cook Shellfish thoroughly, wash your utensils, cutting boards, and countertops. Wash your hands! Hand Sanitizer will not work against norovirus. Now is a good time to stock up on Sickness Survival Supplies. Make sure you have something with electrolytes to help with hydration during fever or vomiting. Check your supply of cold and flu meds BEFORE you need them and check the expiration dates. Good luck everyone... Here's to good health...

Bug Update:
Quiet weeks in the bug room are good weeks in my book. Not a whole lot has gone down. Ripley’s happily checking over her herd of dairy cow isopods, and the Cuddle Bugs have been singing as they huddle up in their home. Sue has gotten more bold with Elmira’s hibernation, and has been venturing out of his hide late at night. All is well with the bugs.
