This video re-enact's a fault I found on site recently. I was asked to investigate a socket after no R1+R2 reading could be obtained on a EICR. This fault is so dangerous and could only be found carrying out dead testing properly and not using a polarity plug to prove things are connected correctly!

This was recorded on Instagram so apologies for the vertical format 😅

The mft I'm using is the Chauvin Arnoux CA6117 which has been kindly loaned to me by ‪@ChauvinArnouxUK‬ to put through it's paces
