Chen is a jungle hero who excels at pushing towers in the early game and has a powerful global heal that can completely turn the outcome of teamfights. I didn't really do it this game, but a common tactic when jungling with Chen is to simultaneously stack the medium and hard camps when you convert a Wildwing ripper (the big pink bird creep). 3 or 4 stacks of creeps can easily be cleared by the tornado spell of the wildwing, and this is a great way to boost your gold and experience gain.

Typically a fast Mekansm will be picked up on Chen, for the AOE heal and extra pushing power, and the fact that it synergizes extremely well with Hand of God. From there, an Aghanim's scepter for the dramatically reduced cooldown timer on your ultimate is usually a good item choice. Vladimir's offering, Necronomicon, or a Ghost scepter can all be good item choices depending on the situation.
