- in this video, I'm going to walk you through the process of installing a side mount control box for your outboard motor. This control box is going to make it much easier for me to control the throttle and shift without having to use the tiller handle.

To get started, I've gathered a few tools that I'll need for this project. I have a drill, a screwdriver, a wrench, and some screws. I've also got the side mount control box kit, which should include instructions. I use the side mount that came with the below kit but modified it to work with my boat.
