1977 Gottlieb SOLAR CITY pinball machine

Описание к видео 1977 Gottlieb SOLAR CITY pinball machine

Here we have a pinball classic! Solar City, released by Gottlieb in 1977, is generally considered to be one of the best EM machines ever produced, along with its single-player and four-player counterparts, El Dorado and Target Alpha.

What's not to love about drop targets? This game has 15 of them and they're a blast to knock down. Clear the 5 bank to light the left lane for extra ball. Hit the rest down to light the right side lanes for special and extra ball.

The two upper flippers help to keep the ball moving. This machine keeps the player coming back for more. My only gripe is that the targets don't reset in this machine once they're completed like they do in El Dorado.

Solar City was designed by Ed Krynski with artwork by Gordon Morison, of course.
