This simulation shows the impact of a 120mm 120mm OFL 120 F1 APFSDS-T being fired from a France Leclerc tank at a range of 1.1KM, targeting the front hull of a Russian T-90M tank.

The Leclerc is a third-generation French main battle tank developed and manufactured by Nexter Systems. Priced at 14 million euros per unit, the Leclerc is currently the world's most expensive tank.

As we can see the Relikt plates destabilized the penetrator effectively making the job of the SHA armour and NERA plates much easier. The 120 OFL F1 has the same penetrator as the DM43, but a different propulsive powder. The added velocity is not marginal as it is 50m/s, so at 3000m it has the same penetration as the DM43 at 2000m.

While the Leclerc performs well in NATO exercises, it is a complex and expensive machine, also its maintenance is quite complicated, which is why it has not been sent on operations outside of Europe.
