Datsun 240Z vs Chevy T-Jet Slot Cars Racing with Train Layout

Описание к видео Datsun 240Z vs Chevy T-Jet Slot Cars Racing with Train Layout

Model Railroad & Slot Car HO Racing Layout: Slot Cars in video: Chevrolet 1962 Belair Auto World Thunderjet vs. Datsun 240Z Auto World Xtraction. HO Scale Trains in video: Milwaukee Road EMD E8A diesel locomotive engines (Lifelike Proto) and eight Milwaukee Road passenger cars (Walthers). These two slot cars are Auto World Deluxe Pit kits that had to be painted and assembled. The assembly came out well, the self-painting was not that great. The slot cars worked well with no glitches noted so far and were fun to run around the track, they stayed on the track very well going quite fast in speed on the straightaway tracks. The cars had nice range of speeds on the Parma controllers, so they could be slow through the curves and also sprint on straightaways. The T-Jets are not a wide as the other slot cars. Slot Car Track layout has been engineered to keep cars rolling. Track sections have jumper soldered wiring. Also feed wires go to several of these jumper wires. Video is not at all in order or continuous, with only one camera on tripod that was moved around to various view angles during the race and the clips were edited and intermingled. Onboard train videos from GoPro Hero on a flat car. Also 4X8 blue styrofoam sheets are moved around to screen out basement stuff especially during on board train video. Various lights were moved around as well. Postproduction also involves masking, screening, and framing. That has been my intention to make videos featuring the trains, slot cars scenery and structures without distractions, such as light fixtures, ceiling, windows, furnace, water heater, basement stuff and giant people and fingers appearing in videos. Fusion Layout & Fusion Racing: This layout is a fusion of model railroad and slot cars. The race itself is a fusion of "Grand Prix Trans Am" and "Press on Regardless Road Rally" races. The Grand Prix Trans Am races run through city streets with skyscapers in the scene. The Press on Regardless Road Rally runs through cities and towns, and possibly with railroad trains, where fans can watch the cars viewing stage and then the cars drive all night on country roads, gravel, dirt and forest trails. I have never in my life seen a NASCAR or other race with high speed oval track. I have only seen grand prix in the city and Press on Regardless. I used to have banked curves at first but took them out so cars have to slow dow at the north and south end. There is no hope speeding through the S curve. Cars can try to disable the other car at the squeeze track, but it is a 50-50 chance they will get disabled so some drivers avoid it. If you disable the other car at squeeze track and keep going that is a point against the disabled car. If you go off the roadway that is a point againt you. Basically if you have to touch your car that is a point against you. Like par in golf, if you get more "strokes" in the game you lose.
