Citroen C4 Picasso Heater Blower Resistor Replacement

Fixing a 2016 Citroen C4 picasso with a heater blower motor that is stuck on at full speed.

The problem here is that the resistor unit or control unit for the motor has failed and is holding the fan on at full speed, sometimes when these fail some speeds will not work, the motor might not work at all or it is stuck on at full speed regardless of the setting on the dash or even if the ignition is turned off.

Thankfully the part itself is very easy to get to and being commonly used across a wide range of cars in the PSA (and it seems also the Stellantis) range it is easy to get a replcement fairly cheaply.

The part in this instance is A43002900, it is best to start your search on google and work from there. Scrapyards with PSA vehicles in stock should be able to do it fairly cheaply. The replacement only cost £20 which was very reasonable
