Starting a business in Slovakia as a foreigner

Описание к видео Starting a business in Slovakia as a foreigner

One of the benefits of studying in Slovakia is, that you can start a business and grow it. As Slovakia is a member of the European Union, it is possible to sell or buy from any country within the Schengen area.
JUDr. Roman Frnčo, a member of the Slovak Bar Association (SAK) is speaking about the legal way to start a business. The host, Sayantan Roy is asking questions, that many foreigners may ask.
There are 2 most frequent ways how to start a business: 1. either as a sole proprietor/ sole trader (so-called živnosť) or 2. limited liability company (spoločnosť s ručením obmedzeným - SRO).
Apart from students, businessmen may come to Slovakia and operate a business based in one of the Slovak cities. Foreigners can do any type of free license business activities (voľná živnosť) or regulated licenses (viazaná živnosť) after approval from the government.
Feel free to contact Roman for your queries about starting a company or sole trading license in Slovakia. We do not provide legal services.
